A Bit About Me

I grew up playing every sport I could. I enjoyed playing, learning, and moving my body, but I really enjoyed getting better! I always had a curiosity when it came to sports. I would watch, analyze, and experiment to try and improve something. Sometimes it would work, sometimes, it wouldn’t. The journey was (and still is) the exciting part, becoming better than I was the day before. The possibilities are endless when it comes to improving ourselves. Movement and exercise have been the perfect portal for improvement. It has not only improved my physical well-being, but the lessons learned through the process and the resilience I needed to overcome the challenges within it have made me a better coach, parent, partner, and human. 


For the last 22+ years as a personal trainer, strength coach, and, most recently, yoga teacher, I have carried that curiosity forward into working with my clients. I explore with them their successes and challenges, identify what is limiting them in their body and lifestyle, and then develop simple and effective solutions for lasting progression because real change takes time. No two people are the same, so no two solutions will be the same. Every conversation, program, coaching cue, and recommendation is customized to the individual.
